MoneyGram Gives Back To The Community

MoneyGram has a long tradition of giving back to the communities where we do business. It's a commitment to community that reflects our corporate values of respect, courage, passion, integrity and teamwork. The MoneyGram Global Giving initiative today includes a grant program for nonprofit organizations, an employee matching gift program and a disaster relief assistance program when major disasters strike around the world.

Globally, MoneyGram's major commitment is a five-year pledge of $1 million to Habitat for Humanity. The goal is to annually build about 25 affordable homes around the world through 2008. Beyond this financial commitment, many company employees are backing this effort by working on some of the MoneyGram-sponsored Habitat home builds.

Locally, the company is a long-time major supporter of the United Way in the Twin Cities, which is the community where the company's headquarters is located. The company annually makes corporate donations to the United Way and promotes a strong employee giving program. This support now extends to the United Way in Denver, where the company operates a major call center.
