Can I modify a send transaction already created within the MoneyGram mobile app?
No, transactions can’t be modified after the transaction is created. If the money hasn’t already been received, you may cancel your transfer and start a new one.
I need to edit my transfer. What should I do?
Need to make a change to your receiver’s name? No problem. You can make a small edit to your receiver’s name on our self-service portal. You will need to have your transaction reference number, sender’s last name, sender’s date of birth, and the receiver’s last name to find your transaction. If you need to make a different edit to your transfer, you will need to cancel it for a refund and start a new one.
