What payment methods can I use when sending money at an agent location?
In most cases, cash is the only form of payment accepted for transactions completed at an agent location. Some locations accept debit cards. We want you to arrive prepared, so bring enough cash to cover both the transfer amount and any additional fees.
Can I send money to someone’s bank account or mobile wallet?
MoneyGram makes it convenient to send money directly to a bank account or mobile wallet in select countries. Log in and start sending money to see all the send and receive options available online, or visit a MoneyGram agent location to begin your money transfer. Service availability may vary at agent locations.
How do I send money transfers at a MoneyGram kiosk?
MoneyGram in-store kiosks help you save time by filling out your money transfer information before you get in line. Use them to send or receive money, pay bills, load cards, and more. Find a participating MoneyGram location and start at the touchscreen. Fill out your transaction details at the kiosk. Once you’re done at the kiosk, see the store’s cashier to give them your name and pay for your transaction. Take your receipt and give your receiver the 8-digit reference number on your receipt for easy pickup.
How do I send money transfers in person at a location?
Find a convenient MoneyGram location near you. Bring your valid ID, receiver's information, and the money you want to send. Give the money, plus fees, to the MoneyGram agent to complete your transfer.
Do I need to bring my personal documentation (ID, Passport, etc.) if I am a MoneyGram Plus Rewards Member?
Yes, you always need to bring your personal IDs when you want to make a money transfer, as per each country’s Rules and Regulations. Being a Plus Rewards member is not a substitute for ID documentation.
