How do I request a photocopy of a cashed money order?
Before requesting a photocopy, make sure the money order has been cashed. The photocopy will include images of the front and back of the money order. (Our customer service representatives do not have access to view who cashed your money order.)
You have a couple of options when requesting a photocopy - online or at a MoneyGram location.
Online
Go to www.moneygram.com and select Pay Bills, enter receive code 2444 (MoneyGram Money Order), the processing payment amount ($18), and the account number (the serial number on the money order). If you do not already have MoneyGram profile, you will need to complete a one-time registration process.
If you would like the photocopy emailed to you, include a valid email address in the message field located in the Biller Information section. If no email address or an invalid email address is provided, the photocopy will be mailed to the address on the transaction.
Processing takes 3 to 8 business days and there is a non-refundable $18 processing fee.
MoneyGram Location
Visit a MoneyGram location near you and tell the clerk you are paying a bill. Provide the clerk with your name and address along with the following information:
Company Name: MoneyGram Money Order
Receive Code: 2444
Account Number: The serial number on the money order
Payment Amount: $18 (processing fee)
