How do I put money in my MoneyGram Account?
There are several options for depositing funds into your MoneyGram Account:
Linked external bank account transfer
You can link your external bank account through the mobile app using Trustly. All you need is your external bank’s login credentials for verification. Once your account is linked, you can transfer funds to/from your bank account and your MoneyGram Account. Funds are typically available within 3 business days. If your bank is not part of the Trustly network, you can use one of the other methods below or initiate a transfer from your other bank directly.
Debit card
Add your debit card(s) as a funding method and you can quickly add funds to your Account. Fees may apply for this service and will be disclosed at the time you initiate the transfer.
Direct deposit
You can ask your employer to direct deposit your paycheck to your MoneyGram Account. Simply provide your employer with your MoneyGram Account number and routing number and you’re good to go!
Cash
You can select Cash as the payment method when setting up a money transfer to your MoneyGram Account in the MoneyGram app. Then go to your selected MoneyGram location to complete the funding.
